Then there is the intermediate course for 4 weeks at around year 3. So that might be time away from the family. Also its an MOS that requires a college degree. The 1st few years in the MOS you will be gone for 9 weeks to the basic course. So there are problems with being a training heavy and requirements heavy MOS. It's because we are a small MOS and getting out of the military is very lucrative financially and has strong stability as a career. Active duty 51C deploy just about every window of development. It's a hard MOS to find out about but once you are in, you are set for life.Īlso i know I made it sound simple, just writing contracts, however as you can imagine nothing ever goes as planned and there are always challenges and problems to solve along the way.
